Karkloof Canopy Tours

The Karkloof Canopy Tour consists of 12 platforms and 10 zip-line slides, the longest of which is 200m! A tour lasts approximately two hours, this is a safe, fun adventure for people between the ages of 6 and 80+ and includes refreshments during the tour.

Tours run at specific time slots. Bookings essential.

Karkloof Conservation Centre

Mandela Capture Site

Nelson Mandela was arrested on 5 August 1962 outside Howick,
Natal, South Africa. He spent the next 27 years of his life in prison.

Karkloof Falls

The beautiful and dramatic Karkloof Falls, 105 metres high plunge over the cliff at Shafton Grange, known by the early settlers as “the most beautiful waterfall in the land”. Karkloof Falls can be found along Karkloof road travelling out of Howick.
